Rooted here. Ready for what's next.

I grew up in Sherman, spending my summers the way most of us did — on the lake, in the sun, not thinking twice about sunscreen. My mother was a cosmetologist here for more than 40 years, and watching her build relationships with clients who became lifelong friends shaped how I think about care.

I became a registered nurse 45 years ago, and I've spent my career showing up for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. Along the way, I built a close friendship with my nail and lash technician — nearly 15 years now — and it's inside her established, well-loved salon that I'm finally opening Collaborative Care Facial Esthetics.

The other providers there have been cheering me on since day one, and honestly, so have my friends. This isn't a solo leap; it's a community welcoming one of their own into a new role.
